Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios tool launched

The tool Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios was developed in 2021 by Tøkni and Nordic energy researchers in a project for Nordic Energy Research, the platform for co-operative energy research and policy development under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers. It was unveiled at an online event on 7 September 2021.

With the tool it is possible to see charts and download the results for each individual country and for the countries combined. It is possible to compare scenarios - and to see scenario differences - and thus have a better foundation for future decisions.

The Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios project had two aims: To identify necessary actions to reduce energy-related emissions leading up to 2030 through scenario modelling, and map potential long-term pathways to carbon neutrality.
